The Jolly Matilda Swag is simple in design but practical to do the job it has been designed for. It is Australian made to ensure you are buying a quality camping swag that is made for the Australian bush. The Matilda swag is durable; no need for fancy features such as polls just tie up to a tree or bull bar to elevate from your body, foot support supplied but if you prefer a head poll it can be brought as an option with this swag. Canvas: Exclusive to the Jolly Matilda Swag is “TearCheck”TM Reinforced 15oz cotton rich canvas. It is waterproof and rotproof and is a very strong heavy duty canvas with excellent breathability, Jolly claim that it is twice as good as other swag canvas. Breathability minimises condensation build up inside the swag. This “TearCheck” quality canvas has been used throughout Jolly’s range of swags.
Fly Screen: The Jolly Matilda Swag has been fitted with a high quality superfine sand fly proof mesh, so no bed bugs to bite. This mesh allows for superior ventilation on those hot Aussie nights.
Mattress: The Jolly Matilda Swag comes with an Australian made progressive density foam mattress. The mattress is made up of two layers, the bottom layer a 2/3’s length premium grade foam to support the mid section of your body, for the comfort of the user the top section of the mattress is a medium density foam. Jolly has used different thickness mattresses for different size Matilda swags, the Kompact has a 32mm Kombo VHD premium foam mattress, the King size and double have a 60mm premium foam mattress with the XXL having a 65mm thick mattress.
Floor: The Jolly Matilda Swag has a water proof 17oz TearCheck canvas Polly base protecting you from the rising damp.
Zips: The Jolly Matilda Swag is fitted with heavy duty water repellent self repairing coil zips. One thing that often breaks down with any camping equipment is the zips, jolly swags zips carry a lifetime warranty.
Size: The Jolly Matilda swag come in two smaller size single swags called the Kompact and the King size measuring approximately 740mm wide and a length of 2130mm, the XXtra measuring 920mm wide and 2290mm long ideal for the big fella. The Matilda also comes in a double swag measuring 1450mm wide and 2130mm.
