OZtrail Wentworth Swag

The OZtrail Wentworth Swag is OZtrail’s smaller size dome swag. Don’t think for a minute that because of its size you won’t have a comfortable night’s sleep. A dome design swag means you have the extra room that is created by the dome, no canvas or fly mesh lying on your body, and decent head room. It has a half size top entry and front awning window complete with fly mesh. The OZtrail Wentworth Swag is an easy set up swag with the pin & ring and the C clip system. Simply push the poles through canvas loops at the top of the swag, then slide the pin of the pin and ring fitting (that is attached to the base of the swag via the ring) into the base off the pole ferules, once both ends of the poles are connected to either side of the swag via the pins, simply snap the C clips (that are placed around the end of the swag) to the poles creating the tension holding the top of the swag in a dome shape. This swag is ideal for any camper wanting an affordable swag with most of the features of the larger more expensive swags.

Canvas:  The OZtrail Wentworth Swag is made from a 320gsm SatProof 600+ canvas. The canvas, prior to manufacture, has been saturated in an anti mildew water proof saturation treatment, unlike other canvases that use a top dressing agent. The polyester/cotton blend is also designed for breathability minimising condensation keeping droplets from forming in the swag. So even after years of use, in the sometimes harsh Australian bush, the swag will hold its condition.

Poles: The OZtrail Wentworth Swag’s poles are made of heavy duty high tensile Durallium alloy, supplied to form the hoops that create the swags sturdy dome shape. These poles are designed to last the life of the swag.

Fly Screen: The OZtrail Wentworth Swag has been fitted with no-see-um ultra fine fly mesh to the top entry and the front awning panel of the swag, creating complete insect protection while allowing for ventilation through the swag on the warmer nights.

Mattress: The OZtrail Wentworth Swag comes with a 50mm thick high density open-cell foam mattress with a breathable poly cotton cover for easy cleaning.

Size: The OZtrail Wentworth swag comes in a single size swag measuring approximately 800mm at the top to 650mm wide at the feet and a length of 2100mm. Although it is smaller than some swags it still has ample room for a comfortable night’s sleep.
